about

Produced by Tommy Audio in Forget Studios.

First and foremost, I owe a huge debt to Tommy Audio, in Los Angeles, California. He is an amazing producer and an indispensable part of this project. Any artist would be blessed to work with him. He's inspirational both in and out of the studio. Thank you, Tommy, I owe you a lot more than I have been able to give you and you have my undying gratitude and loyalty for the amount of work you've put into this album.

--

This is my first Album; it is traditional country music, of a honky-tonk and western swing variety.

There are Three acoustic songs recorded in 2011. Tracks 3, 5 and 7. All are very high quality, produced fully by Tommy Audio in Forget Studios.

Tracks 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8 are all original productions, written and recorded from October to December, 2012 (with the exception of track 7, written and recorded in 2011). Most of them I would consider to be traditional country music.

Album Contains two covers. Track 3, a Willie Nelson cover and Track 5, a Hank Williams Sr. Cover.

I intended to release 10 tracks, but nearly $700 later i have broken the bank! Please help the producer, the musicians and myself by purchasing this album and making another one possible in the near future. I appreciate you and your support. God Bless!

Special Thanks to my mom, Christine, and my dad, Russell, who have been nothing but supportive of me spending every penny I have on this project. Thanks to everyone who buys this album - and everyone who gives it a listen - and to the musicians Uli Sinn, Peter Blackwelder and Jonathan Harris who worked extremely hard with very little heads up on all of these songs. Thank you to Triana Reyes for inspiring much of the material, and Elowyn Corby for being the first person to buy a copy of my album on Bandcamp. I love you all! Oh... and God! Thanks, God.

Track Name: I'm Gonna Be Like God (And Love 'Em All)
Well I'm gonna be like God and love 'em all
I'll be fruitful, multiply, spread joy upon the world
whenever they get lonely they'll just call
'cause I'm gonna be like God and love 'em all

Alice lives in Dallas and i stayed with her last fall
And Molly in a jolly cold December just before
and Mary-Jane's a true love in Maine that I've had for some time
And Lucy is a lovely friend of mine.

Well I'm gonna be like God and love 'em all
I'll be fruitful, multiply, spread joy upon the world
whenever they get lonely they'll just call
'cause I'm gonna be like God and love 'em all

Now I'm not here saying my life is without sin
I've been tempted to play favorites and I've almost given in
but before anybody makes me fall
well I'll take a page from God and love em all

I'm gonna be like God and love 'em all
I'll be fruitful, multiply, spread joy upon the world
whenever they get lonely they'll just call
'cause I'm gonna be like God and love 'em all

As i roll along the interstate you know I won't discriminate
I'm gonna be like God and love em all
I'm gonna be like God and love em all.
Track Name: Take Me Home (Train Song)
There's a train headed south
that I wish I was on
won't you please come back to me
and take me home

'cause I stayed and she's gone
now I'm left here all alone
won't you please come back to me
and take me home

that train is rolling down the line
I hear it blowing in my mind
Oh won't you please come back
and set me free
because I just can't live without my baby

that train is rolling down the line
I hear it blowing in my mind
Oh won't you please come back
and set me free
because I just can't live without my baby

that train is rolling down the line
I hear it blowing in my mind
Oh won't you please come back
and set me free
because I just can't live without my baby

Oh no I just can't live without my baby

True story
Track Name: Touch Me
Touch me,
Touch the hand of a man who once owned all the world
And touch me,
Touch the arms that once held all the charms of the world's sweetest girl

Touch me,
For maybe someday you may need to know how it feels when you lose
so touch me,
and you'll know how you'd feel with the blues.

Watch me,
watch the eyes that have seen all the heartache and pain in the land
and be thankful,
you're happy though standing so close to the world's bluest man
don't forget me,
take a good look at someone who's lost everything they can lose
and then touch me,
and you'll know how you'd feel with the blues.
Track Name: Bleed Me Dry (From A Distance)
Bleed Me Dry
of everything
watch me cry
don't wipe my tears
hear my sigh
then walk away
bleed me dry
from a distance

Bleed me dry
from a distance
How I cry
but it's okay
I know the lie is over now
bleed me dry
from a distance

if you traveled a million miles away
my heart would still be broken
and you might hear me say

Bleed me dry
I don't feel anymore
still ask why
but I get no reply
thought I'd die
but here I am
Bleed me Dry
from a distance

if you traveled a million miles away
my heart would still be broken
and you might hear me say

Bleed me dry
and bleed me dry
till I'm all gone
please carry on
and bleed me dry
Track Name: Long Gone Lonesome Blues
I went down to the river
to watch the fish swim by
but I got to the river so lonesome I wanted to cry oh lord
and then I jumped in the river but the doggone river was dry

She's long gone and I'm lonesome blue

I had me a woman, couldn't be true
married me for my money and she made me blue
a man needs a woman that he can lean on
but my leaning post has done left and gone

She's long gone and I'm lonesome blue

I'm gonna find me a river one that's cold as ice
and when I find me that river lord I'm gonna pay the price oh lord
I'm going down in it three times but lord I'm only coming up twice

She's long gone and I'm lonesome blue.

She told me on Sunday she was checking me out
along about Monday she was nowhere about
here it is Tuesday, ain't had no news
I've got them long but not forgotten blues

She's long gone and I'm lonesome blue.
Track Name: Turn It Over
Well friend you've got troubles on your mind
that's okay, you know that I've had mine.
but whether you've succumbed to bad fortune
or done some things that cannot be undone

Turn it over
you've got to turn it over
you don't need to find no four leaf clover
you'll find your luck will change
when you finally change your ways
put your faith in God
and turn it over

And make things right now
You gotta make it right now
soon you'll learn that you don't have to fight now
Yes you'll see better days
when you finally change your ways
just put your faith in God and Turn it over

Well this advice I humbly offer you
'Cause you seem down and friend I've been there, too
Yes, there've been times where I've strayed from the fold
but I remember wise words I was told

I turned it over
I turned it over
I didn't need to find no four leaf clover
I found my luck had changed when i finally changed my ways
Well I put my faith in God and turned it over

I made things right now
I had to make it right now
soon i learned I didn't have to fight now
Well I've seen better days when I finally changed my ways
I put my faith in God and turned it over

Turn it over
you got to turn it over
you don't need to find no four leaf clover
well you'll find your luck will change
when you finally change your ways
just put your faith in God
and turn it over

And make things right now
You gotta make it right now
soon you'll learn that you don't have to fight now
Yes you'll see better days
when you finally change your ways
just put your faith in God and Turn it over

Put your faith in God and turn it over
Track Name: You've Always Been A Friend
Don't know what I'd do without you
I don't think that I would die
I don't know how I'd live without you
I don't think I wanna try

More than just a smiling face
I may never comprehend
the love we share together
you've always been a friend

Don't know where I'd go without you
but it couldn't be too far
don't know who I'd love without you
I love you for who you are

more than just a smiling face
I may never comprehend
the love we share together
you've always been a friend

you're more than just a lover

you're my best friend.
Track Name: Keep On Keepin' On
Doctor told me son you better say goodbye
Any day now you know that you could die
but I refuse to live my life in fear

A rich man's eatin' as a poor man's looking on
will anybody even care when he's gone
and I don't mean to add a moral to this song
but it's wrong

A single father holds a child in arms
I've seen that look before and he don't know where he's going
and it'll take all the strength he has to go on

and I'll keep on keepin' on
I'll keep on keepin' on

I walked outside today with a smile upon my face
I could disappear from the world without a trace
maybe I will
maybe I won't
and maybe I'm going home

but I'll keep on keepin' on
I'll keep on keepin' on
I'll keep on keepin' on
