This song was written in 2007, before I played the guitar, and during my Hank Sr. binge. When I finally learned I put chords to it and it was the first original song I played with my first band, Raven Daisy, in Los Angeles California. I've always liked it and thought it would be a great fit for this project.
lyrics
There's a train headed south
that I wish I was on
won't you please come back to me
and take me home
'cause I stayed and she's gone
now I'm left here all alone
won't you please come back to me
and take me home
that train is rolling down the line
I hear it blowing in my mind
Oh won't you please come back
and set me free
because I just can't live without my baby
that train is rolling down the line
I hear it blowing in my mind
Oh won't you please come back
and set me free
because I just can't live without my baby
that train is rolling down the line
I hear it blowing in my mind
Oh won't you please come back
and set me free
because I just can't live without my baby
Oh no I just can't live without my baby
